Attending the 19th Annual Traditional Pryer Vigil in honour of the People's Struggle to free Leonard Peltier, North America's longest-serving, indeigenous political prisoner. The day commemorates Leonard's sacrifice of 36 years of false imprisonment.

2012 CUPE Manitoba Convention to be held May 2-5, 2012 in Dauphin, Manitoba
Members of affiliates of CUPE Manitoba are eligible to sit on provincial committees. These committees give advisement and direction to the CUPE Manitoba Executive Board, through action planning. They also undertake other projects or education to improve our political voice or policy, to the benefit of our members.
